I tried a new spot today in the Honeycomb area on the Condo side (Sunrise Marina). No such luck for bass fishing. I worked up the grass beds on the road side with no hits. I threw albino flukes again that were very good the day before. I tried a small rattle trap just outside the grass beds, still nothing. I then crossed over to opposite side and threw texas rig 6" pumpkinseed worm along rocks and brush, flukes again and rattle trap. Nothing hit. I fished for a couple hours. The shad were everywhere, but no bass. I never saw a strike today. I was there mid day, the lake was beautiful and a great day as well. I guess it's time to start going deep for fish. yak attack
