Trout action was fair to very good again this week with anglers using Power Bait ( salmon peach, spring green, rainbow, garlic and orange), inflated night crawlers doused with attractant, some jigs and lures to catch good size, near two pound trout. Best bite was before 10am with a late afternoon kick. Most trout were near two pounds with some over three pounds. Hot spots included the eastern shore of lake 3 from the logs to the northern shore, the western shore of lake 3 from the drain to the bridge and the eastern and northern shores of lake 2. Catfish are biting on chicken livers, shrimp, mackerel and night crawlers with most fish near three pounds. Hot spots for catfish include the northern and eastern shores of lake 2 and the western and northern shore of lake 3. Bass are in pre-spawn and hitting senkos, spinner bait and night crawlers with fish us to five pounds. Hot spots for bass include the south eastern shore and western shore of lake 2 as well as the western shore of lake 3 near the pump house. Bluegill bite is spotty but if the warmer weather holds, the bite should improve.
