Best Trout Lures / Bait: inflated nightcrawlers and salmon peach Power Bait.
Best Cat Spots: The dam buoyline.
Best Cat Bait: mackerel. Use scent liberally
Best Bass Spots: The launch ramp.
Best Bass Lures /bait: crawdads
Water Temp. 61 degrees on surface.
Notables: No fish over 3 lbs. or limits under 1 hour.
Prognosis: We will stock a 1000lb. load of Mt. Lassen‘s great trout this Tues.. The unsettled weather and a rapidly rising lake will keep everything off their game. The lake should be completely full by March 1st and things should settle down. The freshly flooded brush should be very attractive to prespawn bass in the afternoons.
