Richard Peterson, San Diego – 7.5 pound catfish on Mackerel, Log Boom
Lots of Limits! Fishing was very good this week, if you don’t want big fish. Many quick limits of trout were taken in both boats and on the shoreline. The best spots were on the other side of the Lake, and near Jump Off Point. The bass bite is mostly small ones, the bite should pick up in about 10 days as spawning approaches. The catfish bite is great near Boulder Bay. The bluegill bite is slow. The water temperature is at 57 degrees.
