Me and Michael got to Hammonds a little after 10am Friday. Got licenses, some spoons and hula grubs and headed to six-mile. Man do ya'll have some water now. Obviously things were different so it took a little while to figure out what to do and where, but we made some adjustments and wound up catching 17 fish, 13 of which were spots, from about 1pm until dark. Nothing really big but probably 6 or 7 about like those in the pic. Caught fish on finesse worms, spoons, spinnerbaits, hula grub, and crankbaits from as shallow as 5 or 6ft to as deep as 35ft so in that regard for me it was like the old days. Most came on the spoon from 18 to 25ft. From my point of view day 1 was a success. Next post is for Saturday. Ron
