Lake Lanier, Georgia

Got out today at 7am it was 35 degrees when we put in and it finally got up to 46 by the time we took out at 2pm the wind was blowing about 20mph all day and every ride we took was a cold one. Started out fishing shallow from 6-10ft throwing jigs, swimbaits, and shaky heads. We caught most fish on the shaky head and one on a jig and ended up catching 9 total we did missed some on the jerkbait and scrounger head on wind blown points. We stayed North of Gainesville Marina and overall it ended up being a pretty good day no real big fish for us biggest weighed in at 2.12 lbs our best five would have probably been a little over 10 lbs but from what I have seen from the last couple of Tournaments out here it wouldn't have been good enough guess we need to find some bigger fish. Hope everyone else is catching them and if anyone has been catching the bigger ones consistantly please let me know I would like to catch the 4 & 5 pound fish myself.

Be safe on the water!

Josh
