Had a day off of work so decided to hit up the wwd. Stopped at lees at 1pm got some crawlers and headed over there. Got there saw three guys out on the ice by the main dam. Got to the wwd one guy there catching gills by the grates. Took two poles with me one to throw cranks and spinners, And the other was my ultra-light with 4lb cancun line with a 6 hook and crawler. Off the bat caught 4 little gills. Saw lots of bass some in the 12 inch range but they were not touching anything I threw at them. After And hour caught two little bass i mean like 6 inches not picture worthy. Packed up at three as I was walking out a few more guys were coming to fish. I was very suprised how many bass I saw. I was there sun and didnt see that many. It was nice to get out. Was hoping to get a decent bass or eye, but it was fun to get out.
