Crappie: Fair to good. Fish are stacking up in the creeks and coves in anticipation of the warm spell. Fish are also moving up the water column and can be found 12-15 feet deep over 20-25 feet of water. Darker jigs and shiners continue to produce best in stained conditions. Striped and Largemouth Bass: Slow to fair. Target striper and largemouth bunched together along with the white perch. Look for birds and then use a fish finder to mark bait and predators. Jigging spoons fished from 10-25 feet deep are the best way to catch fish, and most of the action seems to be on the lower end or in the middle of the lake. Catfish: Slow to fair. Channel catfishing is spotty, and the fish are on the move following baitfish going up the lake.
