Fished 15, 16 and 17th on north waubay. Could not use the large portable ice house due to heavy snow. Fished with portables off of ice. Walleye bite was good after patterning them. they would bite 6am to 9am and then from 3pm to 6pm. Fished 19 feet of water east of the hump south of lovers lane. Monday morning caught six perch and limit of walleyes from 6:30 to 7:30 in the morning. Used minnows for jumbo perch on bobbers and best action fro walleyes was on frostie jigging spoon with two or more wax worms. Most people were using trucks and portables. Four wheelers can get around close to the trails. By the way the weather was beautiful.
