Old Hickory Lake, Tennessee

Fished for about 4 hours yesterday and held on to my crankbait looking for some fish. Caught 4 short fish as well as some stripe bass busting the bait balls. Fished both the cove area around Avondale and the mouth of Station Camp Creek.

The TWRA Biologist stopped by and was asking for information about catches for the day. He said the normal catch rate on the lake should be 2-3 fish per hour. He also said some indicated catching fish on a rattle trap and spinnerbait further up the lake (above Hwy 109 bridge) -- Peace
