Ice anglers were doing well along the northern, western and eastern shores until this past weekend, when catch rates slowed considerably for most people. There was one report of fast fishing late in the day on Saturday. Ice is more than a foot deep in some areas, but some of the edges may still have unsafe ice. Temperatures drop well below zero after the sun goes down, so be prepared or leave early. Important: This water is on the DWR's watchlist for invasive mussels. Be sure to clean and dry any equipment exposed to the water, such as decoys, waders, rubber boots and fish finders, both before and after you use the reservoir.
