Occoquan Reservoir, Virginia

Was definitely a slow day. The fish were very finicky. We had a group 2 boats with 2 people in each boat. We took some friends that recently moved to Virginia our on their first fishing trip since moving here. Total fish caught was 7. The largest fish was caught by my friends son (15). He pulled in a really nice 3lb 5oz LM using a Panther Martin spinner! Other noteworthy fish were a 2lb 15oz LM and a 1lb 7 oz LM. The later were both caught using a Senko on a weightless hook. Either Texas rigged or Wacky rigged.

Hoping the water warms back up a little and the weather stabilizes a bit. Looking forward to next weekend. Now…where to go???? Maybe Aquia again.
