Took my kayak out this past Sunday. Fished ALL DAY and only got 2 trout. One was about 12" and the other was like 6-7". My fishfinder was going nuts all day. There were TONS of fish in the water, but they wouldn't bite. I tried spoons, rapalas, wedding rings, buzz bombs, ace hi-fly, and dick nites. The only thing I had any luck with was the dick nites and they caught junk fish. I tried fishing anywhere from the surface to 35 feet (downrigger).
Location was Ike Kinswa State Park area.
There were 6-8 other boats in the area, and I didn't see anyone else catch anything either.
